Albert L'estrange
Hi there, I'm Albert: your host, unofficial wine opener and fire stacker, and proud dad of three.
​
This chalet has been a labour of love for me. It's been the home to my myself and my kids, so every stone, board, and wildflower carries a bit of our story.
​With that in mind, I wanted to share this home as a space where people around the world can come together and enjoy the kind of views that make you forget about that pesky little phone.
The chalet was constructed 20 years ago, and designed by myself. It’s main feature is the outdoor atrium, BBQ, and firepit (which is sheltered from the Irish weather, so the outdoor experience is all year round!)

I meet every guest at check-in, and with a 100% response rate you bet I'll get back to your message faster than you can say "is there any Wi-Fi?" (Yes, there is!)​

Whether you're here to explore the mountains or relax with friends and family, I'll be happy to support a warm, and memorable stay with my local pub recommendations and hidden hiking spots. ​

"I would give Albert’s place 10 stars if I could! The house is truly beautiful, my family and I felt very at home, and the views are incredible. You have everything you need here for a getaway that is perfect for groups or families. You could spend the entire time in the house and be perfectly happy, and the surrounding area is lovely for hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and great nearby restaurants and cafes in the local villages.
